I don't know. Simple syrup is granulated white sugar that has been dissolved in water. It's supposed to be a 1:1 ratio but I tend to use less sugar in mine (thats why I have it listeds as 4 cups water to 3 cups sugar in my recipe here). Hope that helps...Ani L. I always keep m...Hi there, thanks for the question. I always keep my vodka-based liquors in the freezer and have never had a bottle break. Alcohol doesn't freeze solid so it doesn't expand and put pressure on the glass. I also freeze my extra moles and sauces in glass Ball jars with no problems. The key there is to leave enough room at the top for the contents to expand while they freeze. Hope this helps.Ani L. So yeah, with the three 750ML bottles of vodka plus the quart of water and the sugar, I had enough volume to fill 12 bottles with about 11 ounces of limoncello. Hope that helps!Ani L.
